Fuck Me! (30 May 2007)

[I originally posted this on May 30, 2007 - but at that time I was afraid to reveal online that I had been convicted of rape.  So I made a misleading reference to "Whether I did or did not have consensual sex" in the first paragraph.  In retrospect, I wish I had not sugarcoated the truth.  I was afraid; but I was still wrong.  Subsequently, I've amended that sentence to accurately reflect the fact that I was accused and convicted of rape, not consensual sex.  Accused?  Yes.  Guilty?  No.  But guilt and innocence are beside the point of this blog entry.]

Dear friends.…

And so it goes….  My official MySpace presence has been eliminated in the gas chamber of "sex offender" over-persecution.  However, the fucker who mentally and physically scarred my precious five-year-old grandson for life and is serving 13 years in prison for it remains welcome on MySpace.  Whether I did or did not commit rape almost twenty years ago (for the record, I did not), my profile has been deleted, while the shaker of my infant grandson, who actually impregnated a girl when he was 20-something and she was seventeen, continues to have a MySpace profile (because justifiably or not, he was never convicted of this "sex offense").  Yet, "sex offender" or not, he is a proven threat to children...even his own.  I, on the other hand (and you can confirm this with anyone who has ever known me), would never harm any child.  In fact, I would give up my own life at this very moment if doing so would protect my nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Apparently, however, the gods at MySpace, which is owned by the very News Corporation (parent of Fox network) that blatantly supported George Bush's misguided campaign in Iraq, believe deleting my peace-and-love oriented profile is a better service to our country than protesting the deaths of over three thousand valiant young American men and women who were sent to defend us from weapons of mass destruction that did not exist.  These are the same "divine" corporate beings who believe Bill Clinton, but not Bush the destroyer, deserved impeachment – as though almost fucking an intern was a bigger deal than fucking the environment, fucking the American working class, and fucking American soldiers in Iraq for bull shit reasons while allowing Osama bin Laden to roam free.  What if Al Qaida had oil wells?

I'm certainly not promoting the coddling of people who harm or want to harm children.  I'd be the first person in the crowd shouting, "Crucify them!"  Rapists too – it doesn't matter if the victims are children!  Punish them all.  And if one of these assholes gets outs out of prison and tries to harm someone else, I'm all in favor of locking the door and throwing away the key, or doing whatever it takes to protect the next potential victim.  I'm just saying that everyone who is labeled a "sex offender" does not deserve the same treatment.  I know innocent men who accepted a parole rather than sit in prison two extra years awaiting a retrial after evidence surfaced that they were indeed innocent.  Yet these more-than-likely-innocent men are still required to register as "sex offenders."  What about the 17-year-old girl in who is forced to register as a "sex offender" because she once gave a willing fifteen-year-old boy a blow job?  Or the forty-five-year old family man in Ohio who must register as a "sex offender" because he was convicted of indecent exposure after being caught having to heed nature's call to urinate off the side of a rural highway?  MySpace, many politicians, and many of my fellow Americans are clumping these relative innocents into a class with child molesters and vicious rapists – subjecting them to the same prohibitions and prejudice, whether deserved or not.

Is deleting MY profile protecting children?  And why, I still wonder, is my grandson's victimizer allowed to have a profile?  MySpace even allows profiles for convicted murderers who are on death row in Ohio, saying that these men have a right to free speech.  But my liberal, Democratic, Hillary Clinton-supporting profile is gone.  Actually, I remember Hillary's profile being "accidentally" deleted a couple of months ago as well.  I wonder if Republican Mark Foley's was.

Meanwhile the conservative Nazi censors oil my ass….  But to borrow a line from Beverly Hills Cop, "I'm not falling for the banana in the tailpipe."

I am grateful for your love and support,

John, a.k.a. Jesus Crisis

ok, this is weird. when i first loaded this page, all i saw was the headline and a place to add a comment, and that's why i wrote that sentence. but then my comment didn't take and now see the blog. hunh.

re: the blog itself? deleting you profile was stupid. posting this blog took a lot of courage. the night we met at that blog contest, i went back as far as your first blogs and found this and instead of freaking out, i admired you for telling the truth. i still admire you for that. it would have been very easy for you to never bring it up with anyone you met online.

this is part of what makes you, you.

on the other hand, maybe you might not have met any of us from myspace if they hadn't deleted your original profile. sliding doors...
