Principal Robert Holloway, 49, of Parma, admitted to police and the church pastor that he kissed the feet of three 14-year-old boys last month as a result of a bet on the outcome of a volleyball game between students and teachers, according to a police report.

The Rev. Joe West, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua, told police Holloway would be fired and would not be returning to the school, the report stated.

West did not return a phone message last night and Holloway could not be reached for comment.

Holloway bet the three boys that if they won the game, he would pay them each $15 and kiss their feet 50 times, the report stated.

On Feb. 27 and 28, Detective Sgt. Mark Carpentiere interviewed the three boys, their mothers, West, Holloway and Assistant County Prosecutor Tony Cillo and determined there was no violation of law or grounds for criminal charges against Holloway.

''He realizes what he did was stupid, but denies having any kind of foot fetish and said he just did it to make them laugh,'' Carpentiere said about his interview with Holloway.

One of the boys told his mother about the bet before the game and then on Feb. 24, told his mother Holloway fulfilled the bet by kissing the feet of two boys, according to the report. The mother told police she thought it was a joke when her son told her about the bet and didn't believe Holloway would do it, the report said.

The mother contacted the other boys' mothers and the three went to the school on Feb. 27, the report stated.

Holloway paid the $15 to each of the boys as promised in the bet, according to the report.

He kissed one of the boy's feet in the school library and the other two boys' feet in the gym, the report stated. No other students or people were present at either of the locations, according to the report.

Two of the boys told Carpentiere that Holloway did not seem to enjoy kissing their feet and appeared to want to get it over quickly, the report stated.
