Have Car, Will Travel

Bright and early tomorrow morning, we're leaving northern Ohio for warmer climes.  That's right, my wife and I are heading southeast, through Pennsylvania, Maryland, and into Virginia first.  Other stops?  Well, they might include everything from Monticello and Yorktown, my dear great-aunt's house in South Carolina,  God-knows-where in Savannah, Georgia, and ultimately my father-in-law's house south of Tampa in Florida.  I have old friends in Florida I'm yearning to see, as well as a couple in Chattanooga, TN, and northern Kentucky on the way back.

I'm mainly just looking forward to getting away, seeing some cool people and places and making time to work on my book.  Thanks to my brother Mike for dogsitting, to my Mom for keeping an eye on our cats, and to Jamie for promising to stop by and water our garden.

Hopefully, I'll have a chance at some point to share our progress with my groovy MySpace friends and family.  I'm taking my cameras and hope to have some cool pics and video to share.  But although I'm taking my laptop, don't expect me to be online much.  I'll play catch-up upon our return.

Namaste....
