Ask Jesus Anything, Part One (from December 2007)

Not long before Christmas 2007, I posted a blog on MySpace entitled "Ask Jesus Anything." Since the blog was nothing without the questions and answers in the comments, I haven't reposted the blog here on the Crisis Chronicles ... until now.
I think I've figured out an easy way to post the comments here - with my friends' pictures as links to their MySpace profiles. Since there were far too many questions and answers to post all in one blog right now, I plan to split them up into three separate postings.
Some of my friends' profiles may be set to private - but in the cases where they aren't (you'll know when you click on their pictures), I encourage you to check them (and their often excellent blogs) out, if you haven't already.
Here's a photo of me around age four in Lorain, Ohio, that I included in the original blog:

And now here's part one of "Ask Jesus Anything":

I guess the only new thing is that I've figured out how to get the MySpace comments to work correctly in this blog.... And you're the first of the fifteen friends who appear in this blog to have commented. Maybe you should have two stars on the Jesus Crisis Walk of Fame. (-;

As always... I always get beat by Susan...LOL... she always gets here first...
Thanks for including me... I feel honoured... to be one of the first 16... and this was a cool blog when it was originally posted... to be able to ask you questions about yourself.... almost like a reverse Tag situation.
MySpaces format works well with that since you can reply to individual comments very easily. And you had loads of comments to this original blog.
We have to bring your viewing numbers up for this site ... me thinks...
Smiles to you-
Chris

LOL... thanks, Chris! the honor is mine as well.
As I'm sure you noticed, I divided up your questions... so you'll also appear in the next installment.
Smiles back to you....

I think I understand why Susannah is confused. The word I was going to use is lost. We're responding to a blog and the comments that we already left. Could be parental sleep deprivation, but we could be opening the gate to another dimension by creating blogs inside of blogs? Like a mystery wrapped in a riddle.
Kidding aside, this was one of my favorite blogs. You told some great stories and gave some explanations that even my simple and linear mind could understand (about Budda and all). Does Budda mind if I spell his name wrong? I'm assuming he does not. BTW, this is the first time I have made the leap off of myspace and on to your site completely unaided by any links! So, it can be done, even by a computer illiterate, directionally challenged soul like me!

LOL... welcome to the twilight zone.... "We could be opening the gate to another dimension by creating blogs inside of blogs? Like a mystery wrapped in a riddle." I like that! Makes me feel a bit like Rod Serling.... I was feeling quite sleep deprived when I posted this last night - was even kinda amazed it actually worked. "To sleep, perchance to dream...." I could not get the "reply" links to work correctly inside the comments, so I deleted them. But I'm happy the rest works.
And I'm sure the Buddha doesn't mind. The English language and most of out letters didn't even exist when he was around. If he did write "Buddha" (which is a description or title and not really his name anyway), he probably would have done so in Sanskrit letters. So in one sense, you could say we're ALL misspelling "Buddha" - but perhaps it's more accurate to say we're all simply transliterating his name in different ways. Buddha may be the most common or standard English spelling now - but I've seen some excellent and well-known writers spell the "name" differently. The Spanish spell it "Buda." So you have my (and probably the Budda's) blessing... (-;
I'm glad you like this blog, Tara. It's one of my favorites, too. And I hated not having it here....
