33 without the 3rd

Self Portrait with George Harrison - 22 January 2009
While waiting for my Lix and Kix IV photos to upload (which is taking way longer than expected), I decided to multi-task by responding to one of my many "tags" on Facebook. This tag by a fellow poet asked me and several other folks to answer the following 33 questions. I'm copying my responses here in the interest of having a quick and easy blog. Feel free to share your own answers on the comments if you're so inclined. Or if you prefer, ridicule mine.
1. What is your occupation right now?
Guitar

you don't strike me as a grape hyacinth sort of guy.... I'm just saying..LOL..
I thought your occupation was blisters, but maybe I was mistaken...

This is all you get for today - I'm distracted by my new guitar and teaching myself to play! But I did add two d.a.levy works and a Dianne Borsenik ("Following Jesus") video to the Online Library. Taught myself to play a few Johnny Cash songs, too - gonna make my debut at Lix and Kix as Johnny Cashstrapped.
"Hyacinth House" is one of my favorite Doors songs. Hyacinths remind me of mom's gardens, too. Must be a mom kinda day.....

Ah.. but hyacinth's and grape hyacinths are different.. so you need to be more specific...
They also smell very different.
And I'm glad to not have been tagged.. thanks.

Um, perhaps you didn't notice, but you were tagged on Facebook when I first posted this.

Nope... didn't see it...

Actually the only one to tag me so far is Jen..

Ah, well, I typed in Chris and it tagged a different Chris. Not sure why that happened.... I didn't mean to tag Chris Lawrence.

Doesn't matter I'm not important .. so don't need tagging.

I found about 100 Elenas on Facebook. Maybe I should change my name. I have used Hell Anne. That fits, doesn't it?

We're all important, and we're all unimportant - just depends on how we look at it.

Forgot to say.. I want that album... I didn't know you had any real vinyl... I want to see it next time I'm there.

33 1/3 is a good album with a good band. Gary Wright ("Dream Weaver") played keyboards, Billy Preston played piano/organ, Tom Scott played saxophone/flute/lyricon.... George even covered a ole Porter song, "True Love," on it. Not as good as All Things Must Pass, but what is? The record's in very good condition, too.

I agree with Chris here...lame indeed...we expect more from such a talented and creative person! Do love grape hyacinth though!

They weren't my questions!

But my new song about Facebook friend deletion will be well worth enduring this paltry blog... at least it amuses me.

Do you collect LP albums? We have hundreds of them here. Many old Beatles, Doors etc.

I could make up a hundred more interesting questions for you to answer.
LMAO

I used to collect 'em. Gave hundreds away for a public library book sale when I came home from prison, but couldn't part with the ones dearest to my heart or potentially most valuable....

i've never accepted a tag because the questions never spark my imagination.

These didn't really spark mine - but that made it easier for me to answer them quickly and churn out a free blog
