I'll Be Doggone
Had a fantastic day of poetry and supper with friends yesterday... but I'll wait 'til tomorrow to tell you about it. I haven't had a chance to work on the video yet. Plus, Geri will be home soon and I still have to make lentil soup. I also must confess that some of my time and mind got sidetracked (though I'm not complaining!) by a surprise gift from someone whose "name" begins with M and ends with m. If you read yesterday's blog (or even if you didn't), you can figure out the missing letter, which also appears in the acronym OMG (which describes my reaction when I saw it). A new camera! And it's even better than the old one. Muchas gracias!

Wow what nice photos! Very nice! I assume you are photographing yourself as we speak to check out how much better you look under the scope of a new lense. LOL..
It might be scary if you have a zoom...

Lucky wanted to get lucky when Leda had her first heat, but we successfully kept them apart. Thank goodness!

Thanks, Chris! Lucky's a huge dog; but the way he curls up, he doesn't look so big in the photo. I haven't taken a photo of myself with the new camera yet. I just posted one of myself yesterday anyway, and I don't want to seem too narcissistic... lol. The soup is nearly done and Gina Tabasso's video is loading onto the computer from the camera. It takes a while, but I hope to have it ready to post tomorrow.
I'm grateful Leda didn't get pregnant.

I guess it is MOM. If Leda has puppies who will the dad be, Lucky Strike. Isn't he her father? No comment....

Lucky's full name is actually Lord Lucky Maximus. Lady's is Lady persephone. And Leda's depends on who you ask. We named her Leda Lynne; but my 6-year-old niece Hannah says her real name is Hannah Leda. So I compromised and went with Leda Hannah.
