I read Gibran's The Madman this morning
And I strongly recommend it. Since it's no longer subject to copyright, I've added it to the Crisis Chronicles Online Library for your convenience. I copied and pasted the text from Project Gutenberg, but then found numerous minor typographical errors that I've since fixed after checking with my hard copy of the book.
Here's a link to Kahlil Gibran's The Madman in the CC Online Library:

And a brief quotation from it:
"...in him who is being born Heaven touches Hell."

Gosh you've been busy this morning.. hunting down types is no small feat in a long piece.
Nice choice of Gibran. Which one are you going to post next?

He only published three books in English (more in Arabic) prior to 1923 -- so The Madman, Twenty Drawings, and The Forerunner are the only three in the public domain and that I can use without obtaining permission. The Prophet, which many consider Gibran's masterpiece, was originally published in 1923 and remains subject to copyright until 2018.
