Dog on It
This old brown dog only
Gets your bad attention
Ruff
He clearly sees a threat down the street
A shadow in the yard
A stranger approaching the door
Ruff ruff
A wolf disguised as a loved one
You tell him shut up
Ruff
But he smells the threat
Ruff ruff
It isn't just
Fear he feels
Unaware of the disadvantage
Of his handicapped paw
It's
Ruffruffruff
Urgency
He
Just
Knows
Wants to protect you and the house
Smells trouble about
Ruff ruff RUFF
But you're tired of his barking
Tell him SHUT UP again
Finally decide you can't win
Ruff ruff
Take him out the back door to the kennel
Ruff
Walk
around
to
the
Front
And welcome the stranger in
For dinner

Rough, ruff, puff, plough, (Brit) plow, bough, bow, route, rout, tough, or stuff. I can no longer bare this, or is it bear this. Hear hear or is it here here? Maybe its their or there I don't know where....
