EF it!

Yesterday was E day and today is F day in the Crisis Chronicles Online Library.  Feel free to explore some of these excellent authors (just click a name to follow the link):

E = Kevin Eberhardt, Mister Eeee, Danilee Eichhorn, T.S. Eliot, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

F = Edward FitzGerald, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Heather Fowler, Christopher Franke, and Robert Frost.

Five glaring omissions I hope to fill in the near future: Euripides, William Faulkner, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Benjamin Franklin and Mike Finley.  Anybody else you'd recommend?...

I guess I would recommend Du Fu because he is old enough to not be a copyright problem. And he is one of the most important Chinese poets aside from Li Po.

Thanks, Chris!  Good suggestion....  I know the original Chinese is in the public domain -- but I'm not sure which English translation is.  Which would you recommend?

I know you tend to prefer to find things on your own so I won't recommend any.
Though I know when you do find the time you'll see there are several good translations of Du Fu on-line and in print.

Thanks for at least considering my suggestion John.

I can find them, but if they were published in the U.S. after 1922, as most translated Chinese poetry has been, they're more than likely still subject to copyright.
