What's happening!

Added a bunch of Edgar Allan Poe works to the online library yesterday since it was 31 October.

Got two new books yesterday: Intimate Journals by Charles Baudelaire and The Collected Poems: 1956-1998 by Zbigniew Herbert.  This translation of the former seems to be in the public domain — so I wanna eventually add it to the library.

Today I begin writing a semi-autobiographical novel — one chapter a day through the month of November — kinda inspired by NaNoWriMo, but not following their rules/guidelines.  I'm calling it Black Truth.

Crisis Chronicles Press published two books in October: Elyria: Point A in Ohio Triangle by Alex Gildzen and a reprint of Suburban Monastery Death Poem by d.a. levy.  We'll be publishing two more in November, if all goes well.  More on those soon.

Also wanna get some of these videos done.  Added one of Steven B. Smith from May to the Online Library today.  More coming soon.

Finally, I wanna announce a few readings that are happening this month:

Friday November 13th at 8:30 p.m. — John Burroughs (a.k.a. Jesus Crisis) will be the featured poet at Borders Books (17200 Royalton Rd.) in Strongsville, Ohio, during the Deep Cleveland Poetry Hour.  Open mic will follow.

Tuesday November 17th at 7 p.m. — the Lix and Kix poetry extravaganza at Bela Dubby Art Gallery & Beer Cafe (13221 Madison Ave.) in Lakewood, Ohio, will be featuring three fine poets: Mnemosyne editor Jen Pezzo (aka Kerowyn Rose), MoonLit editor (and author of the vanZeno Press collection Emergency Contact) Claire McMahon, and (from Cincinnati) novelist (and author of the West End Press poetry collection Crow Call) Michael Henson. An open mic will follow.

Last, but by no means least, two more of my favorite poets and people, the David Smith and Scott Wannberg will be in Ohio this month.  Here's their itinerary, stolen from Scott's Facebook note (all will be followed by open mic):
