I think he cracked and cracked hard when he learned of his deployment. He had already heard so many stories from the returning soldiers. I would guess that animosity began to increase over this never ending war. He probably thought he could ride out his time there at FT. Hood. He had made it clear that he wanted out, well he'll be out now. I abhor what he's done but the military should have paid more attention. I am married to a 20 yr vet who has emotional probs due to the military, they don't always heed warnings. As for the religious connotations, I don't believe in war or killing under any god. xx
