Geoffrey A. Landis, a respected scientist, talented poet, and award-winning science-fiction author (Nebula, Hugo, and Locus), has had a novel (Mars Crossing), a collection of short stories (Impact Parameter), a volume of poetry (Iron Angels), numerous short stories, novelettes, and poems published, as well as 400 scientific papers (photovoltaics and astronautics) and dozens of articles (model rocket technology and popular science). Dr. Landis has worked on the Mars Pathfinder and Mars Exploration Rovers missions at the NASA John Glenn Research Center, holds 4 patents on photovoltaic device designs, won the Rhysling Award last year for his science-fiction poem "Search," and can be found at www.geoffreylandis.com.
T.M. Göttl received a Wayne College Regional Writing Award for poetry, and won first place the first time she competed in a poetry slam. She’s been heard on 91.3 WAPS and 89.7 WOSU radio. Her work has appeared online and in print, in publications such as The Mill, The Hessler Street Fair Poetry Anthology, Opium Press, The Poet’s Haven, Deep Cleveland, and others. In addition to performances at poetry readings throughout her home state, she has featured at nationally recognized poetry venues like Cleveland’s Literary Café, Lakewood's Lix & Kix Poetry Extravaganza, Toledo's Collingwood Arts Center, and the historic Columbus Poetry Forum. Her first full-length collection, Stretching the Window, was published in 2008.
Dianne Borsenik, former flowerchild and current redhead, is active in the Cleveland poetry scene. Her poems have appeared in Slipstream, Rosebud, Ship of Fools, Nerve Cowboy, The Magnetic Poetry Book of Poetry, Haiku World: An International Poetry Almanac, Eviscerator Heaven, Deep Cleveland Junkmail Oracle, Voices of Cleveland, and Naturally magazine; her chapbook HardDrive/SoftWear was published in 2009 (Crisis Chronicles Press). Both the 2008 and 2009 Cleveland RTA poetry projects included her poems, and actor Jonathan Frid ("Barnabas" on Dark Shadows) used 3 of her poems on tour in "Genesis of Evil." She has performed her poetry in venues throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
