2010 Hessler Street Poetry Finalists

[Earlier today, I received this e-mail from Joshua Gage:]

Dear Poets,

Enclosed is the Table of Contents for the 2010 Hessler Street Poetry Anthology. If you are receiving this, your poem has been accepted, and you should prepare to read at the qualifying reading on May 12, which will be hosted by Mac’s Backs Books on Coventry. About 20 minutes after all poets have read, the winners will be announced and prizes will be handed out. To receive a prize you must read on May 23 at the Hessler Street Fair.

Thank you for your participation,

Joshua Gage

Well, we didn't "win" the cash prize, but we did merit inclusion in the 2010 Hessler Street Fair Poetry Anthology (available at Mac's Backs).

Congratulations again to the three who achieved both:

      1st Prize: Geoffrey Landis
      2nd Prize: Mary Turzillo
      3rd Prize: Jill Riga

Thanks to Suzanne DeGaetano of Mac's, to editor and emcee Joshua Gage, and to the four judges: Sue Savickas, Tom Orange, Jason Floyd Williams, and Megan Collins.
