Down
Discontentment drips
from the eaves like these bees,
abuzz with the fall.

Thanks! We stayed at mom's "spare" house on the hill and the awning over back patio was home to many bees - at one point they really looked like they were dripping from the eaves. After I came home, I toyed with changing the word drip to drop - but at the last second before posting this, I changed it back.
The Cranberry Glades are almost like arctic tundra - I believe it's the southernmost point where you can find certain plant and animal species that are primarily found way up north. They have a Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cranberry_Glades

Why discontentment? I think that is the question.

Ay, there's the rub. The Buddha's first so-called noble truth ("Life is suffering") is my easy cop-out answer.

I guess I'll just have to insert my own discontentment. But I am so, discontented with my discontentment. Will you not allow me to feast my eyes upon yours?
