A Wrinkle in Time in Oberlin

Thanks to Christina Brooks for recording and posting this video of me reading "A Wrinkle in Time" on 28 April 2011 at the Slow Train Cafe in Oberlin, Ohio.  Thanks again to the owners and staff of the Slow Train Cafe for creating and maintaining such a marvelous venue and to emcee Meeko Israel for inviting me to be the evening's featured poet.

"A Wrinkle in Time" first appeared on my blog (under its old title, "Rip Van Wrinkle, About to Be Pressed") on 6 February 2009.  Later, I was honored to have it appear in What I Knew Before I Knew, an anthology of poems edited by Sammy Greenspan and published by Pudding House Publications in 2010.

"You're welcome" = you are welcome
    "your welcome" is a possessive

Please know I'm not the Anonymous one - nor do I know who it is.  I've already been called mean spirited, a jerk and worse this week when I've done nothing wrong, so I wanna clarify so there is no misunderstanding.  Now, to quote the "real" (or at least most famous) Jesus: Go ye and sin no more.

Then I'll have to take your word for it JC won't I .... in other circumstances I've been told that's not good enough... so what to do?
But I guess I will have to trust you and leave it at that.

Regardless.. it's a good video and I'm glad I got it for you... and I sincerely apologize for my poor grammar. I was raised Polish and didn't even speak English till 1st grade... and it's been a struggle ever since.

I also get in trouble when I'm just minding my own business. My wife went thru a red light in Cleveland driving my car & now I have to pay a $95.00 fine! I know I could fight it but I just told her that was her Mother's Day gift. I never know what to get her anyway.Besides, I'm too lazy to fight. Just beat me up & get it over with (or is that 'beet', Anonymouse?)...
