will read poetry at the Williamstown Bridge that crosses the Ohio River
between Williamstown, West Virginia and Marietta, Ohio. We'll meet at the park (next to the bridge) on Front Street in Williamstown at 3. Bring your own

Coolville, Ohio — Find 'em, Freak 'em & Flee Poetry — Ohio's Smallest Church
Monday 5/23/2011 at c. 4:30 pm — Poets John Burroughs, Dianne Borsenik and Vladimir Swirynsky
will make a brief guerrilla poetry invasion at Ohio's Smallest Church (official name: Healing Chapel) where County Road 63 meets US Route 50 in Coolville, Ohio. If anybody's there, we'll find 'em, freak 'em and flee.

Monday 5/23/2011 at 7 pm — Poets South of I-70 will host featured poetry by John Burroughs and Dianne Borsenik, a.k.a. Lix and Kix, at the Athens County Public Library's The Plains branch, 14 S. Plains Road in The Plains, Ohio. There will also be an open mic.





Why did you choose these particular spots?

we didn't choose Athens. Athens chose us. When we read in Marion last year, the lady who hosts the Poets South of I-70 reading series asked us to read for her in May 2011 and we accepted. The other two places are on our way there.

That said, if I'd had a choice, I would still have chosen Athens, since that's the beautiful home of my alma mater, Ohio University, and would surely be a great place to read.

Me too! Geri and I discovered it on our way to West Virginia five or so years ago, returned last year when James and Dianne were traveling with us, and I thought it would be a great place to read poetry. So....
