Money for Something
My newest poem, Roué Let, appears in the Crisis Chronicles Cyber Litmag. Normally I tend to avoid posting my own poems there (preferring this Tao of Jesus Crisis blog for my personal work). But an online gaming site paid me to write the poem and include it — and I desperately needed the cash — so I "sold out" (you might say, though I prefer the term "freelanced") and now it's there. Maybe if a lot of people click the link in my poem and check out the site it leads to I'll be able to convince the company to sponsor more Litmag posts and help keep Crisis Chronicles (both our website and our press) alive and kicking for as long as I am.

Getting paid for your poetry is a GOOD thing since we often end up doing this free and on our own time and because we love it.
So stand tall... you are not a sell out just a professional now... getting paid for your talent. THAT is a good thing.
