John Rambles On (with The Four Temperaments)

I stayed up late last night after spending a good portion of yesterday on baby shower preparations.  Yes, my step-daughter Jamie will soon have her first baby, giving Geri and me a total of eight grandchildren.  For some reason Dick Van Patten keeps popping into my head.

This morning we rose early, sleep deprived (with the household clocks, sprung forward an hour, mocking us) and Geri had me mix some real caffeinated coffee in with her now usual morning decaf.  I packed her truck with the shower stuff, cleaned up dog poop in our yard, uploaded video of Lacie Semenovich's Deep Cleveland reading to the cyber litmag, washed dishes, replaced our broken toilet seat, drank the last of our root beer and recorded this tired mess.  Maybe the best part is where I read "The Four Temperaments" from Tomas Tranströmer's The Great Enigma.  I need to get some real work done, but I'm kinda tired and brain-fried.
