Cleveland, Ohio — Pandemonium 2013: Shine — Cleveland Public Theatre
Saturday 9/7/2013 at 7:30 p.m. — John Burroughs
will perform a set of original works entitled God Awful Poetry: Lamb Pooning the Aw, Mighty during this annual fundraiser for the Cleveland Public Theatre.  More info here.

Cleveland, Ohio — 24-Hour Zine-A-Thon — Guide to Kulchur
Saturday 9/20-21/2013  — Guide to Kulchur: Text Art and News will unveil their co-op space, permanent zine collection and black box performance stage with 24 hours of poetry, film and more beginning at 7 pm on Friday 9/20.  John Burroughs will perform sometime on Saturday, and several Crisis Chronicles Press authors will be scattered among the weekend's performers.  More info here.
 

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Rustbelt Exchange — East End Book Exchange
Friday 9/27/2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. — Poets John Burroughs, John Dorsey, Steve Brightman, Dianne Borsenik and Jason Baldinger will read from their latest books at the East End Book Exchange, 4754 Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh. More info here.


Cleveland, Ohio — 100 Thousand Poets for Change — Visible Voice Books
Saturday 9/28/2013 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. — Catherine Criswell and 
John Burroughs will co-host. Featured authors will include Susan Grimm, RA Washington, Stacie Leatherman and Michael Hemery, with guest performances by Carmen Callahan and Ray McNiece's Tongue-in-Groove band.  Visible Voice Books + Wine, 1023 Kenilworth Avenue in Cleveland.  More info here.

Thursday 10/1/2013 at 7 p.m.  Kattywompus Press

Akron, Ohio — Night Murmurs — Rubber City Recording Studios
Saturday 11/16/2013 at 7:00 p.m. — John Burroughs will be one of the evening's featured performers during Night Murmurs at Rubber City Recording Studios and Polymer City Records on 68 West Exchange Street in Akron.  Jen Pezzo will host.  More details forthcoming.


Cleveland Heights, Ohio — Writing Knights: The Apocalypse — Mac's Backs
Saturday 12/28/2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. — John Burroughs, Quartez Harris, Brandon Stroud and Johnny Habu will be among the featured artists for this special event hosted by Writing Knights Press at Mac's Backs Books, 1820 Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights.  More info here.
